New Year’s Eve bingo

What’s included

• 8 different bingo cards, two to a page with a cut line
• 36 words mixed across the cards, with a free middle square
• A name line on every card
• 4 A4 pages, designed to print well in colour or black and white

How to play

1. Print the cards (two per page), cut them out and hand one to each guest early in the evening.
2. Guests cross off squares as things happen around them.
3. The first to complete a full line (across, down or diagonally) shouts “Happy New Year!” and wins a small prize.
4. Carry on for a full card if midnight is still a way off.

Tips

• Leave a few pens on the snack table so nobody misses a square.
• Accept fireworks you can hear but not see.
• For children, play a full card and award prizes at 9pm.

Printing tips

• Print at 100% or “Actual size” rather than “Fit to page”, so nothing gets trimmed.
• Everything is A4. If your printer only takes US Letter, choose “Fit to page” instead.
• Thicker paper (120–160gsm) feels nicer to write on and survives a night out; plain 80gsm is fine too.
• Black and white works: the designs are made to stay clear without colour.
