What’s included

• A 15 × 15 letter grid hiding 18 words

How to play

1. Print one sheet per player (or one between two for younger children).
2. Look for each word in the grid. Words run left to right, top to bottom, or diagonally downwards.
3. Circle each word as you find it and tick it off the list. Words of more than one word, like Big Ben, appear without the spaces.
4. The first to find all 18 wins, or simply work through it together. The answer key is on page two.

Tips

• Hand it out early in the evening to keep children busy while the grown-ups get the party ready.
• Coloured pencils make it easier to see which words have been found.
• Set a timer for ten minutes and see who finds the most, then finish the rest together before the countdown.

Printing tips

• Print at 100% or “Actual size” rather than “Fit to page”, so nothing gets trimmed.
• Everything is A4. If your printer only takes US Letter, choose “Fit to page” instead.
• Thicker paper (120–160gsm) feels nicer to write on and survives a night out; plain 80gsm is fine too.
• Black and white works: the designs are made to stay clear without colour.
