What’s included

  • 8 different bingo cards, two to a page with a cut line
  • 36 words mixed across the cards, with a free middle square
  • A name line on every card
  • 4 A4 pages, designed to print well in colour or black and white

How to play

  1. Print the cards (two per page) and cut them out. Give everyone a card and a pen.
  2. Open presents one at a time. When a present matches a square on your card, cross it off.
  3. The first player to cross off a full line (across, down or diagonally) shouts “Bingo!” and chooses who opens the next present.
  4. Keep playing for a full card if the present pile is big enough.

Tips

  • Opening presents one at a time makes the morning last longer, and the bingo makes it fun.
  • A present only counts once, but everyone with that square can cross it off.
  • Keep a small prize under the tree for the winner.

Printing tips

  • Print at 100% or “Actual size” rather than “Fit to page”, so nothing gets trimmed.
  • Everything is A4. If your printer only takes US Letter, choose “Fit to page” instead.
  • Thicker paper (120–160gsm) feels nicer to write on and survives a night out; plain 80gsm is fine too.
  • Black and white works: the designs are made to stay clear without colour.
