Burns Night quiz for kids

What’s included

How to play

1. Print one question sheet per child or team. A grown-up keeps the answer sheet.
2. Read the questions aloud for younger children.
3. Read out the answers and give a point for each correct one.
4. The highest score wins a piece of shortbread (everyone else gets one too).

Tips

• Great for school Burns Night lessons and assemblies.
• Show a picture of a unicorn on a Scottish coat of arms after question 4.
• Pair it with the free Burns Night word search.

Printing tips

• Print at 100% or “Actual size” rather than “Fit to page”, so nothing gets trimmed.
• Everything is A4. If your printer only takes US Letter, choose “Fit to page” instead.
• Thicker paper (120–160gsm) feels nicer to write on and survives a night out; plain 80gsm is fine too.
• Black and white works: the designs are made to stay clear without colour.
