Secret Santa questionnaire

What’s included

• 12 prompts with space to write a name
• A name line
• 1 A4 page, designed to print well in colour or black and white

How to play

1. The organiser prints one sheet per person and hands them out when names are drawn.
2. Everyone fills in their own sheet and gives it back to the organiser, folded.
3. The organiser passes each sheet to the person who drew that name, so nobody finds out who has whom.
4. Use the answers to choose a gift within the agreed budget.

Tips

• Agree the budget and the date of the swap before you hand out the sheets.
• For an office Secret Santa, ask everyone to note allergies: it matters for food gifts.
• Online swap? Fill the sheet in, take a photo and send it to the organiser.

Printing tips

• Print at 100% or “Actual size” rather than “Fit to page”, so nothing gets trimmed.
• Everything is A4. If your printer only takes US Letter, choose “Fit to page” instead.
• Thicker paper (120–160gsm) feels nicer to write on and survives a night out; plain 80gsm is fine too.
• Black and white works: the designs are made to stay clear without colour.
