What’s included

• A 15 × 15 letter grid hiding 18 words

How to play

1. Print one sheet per player (or one between two for younger children).
2. Look for each word in the grid. Words run left to right, top to bottom, or diagonally downwards.
3. Circle each word as you find it and tick it off the list. Two-word answers, like mince pie, appear without the space.
4. The first to find all 18 wins, or simply work through it together. The answer key is on page two.

Tips

• Print page one only for players and keep the answer key for the grown-up in charge.
• Coloured pencils make it easier to see which words have been found.
• Turn it into a race: set a timer for ten minutes and see who finds the most.

Printing tips

• Print at 100% or “Actual size” rather than “Fit to page”, so nothing gets trimmed.
• Everything is A4. If your printer only takes US Letter, choose “Fit to page” instead.
• Thicker paper (120–160gsm) feels nicer to write on and survives a night out; plain 80gsm is fine too.
• Black and white works: the designs are made to stay clear without colour.
