What’s included

  • 16 questions with space to write each answer
  • A separate answer sheet on page 2
  • Name and score boxes
  • 2 A4 pages, designed to print well in colour or black and white

How to play

  1. Print one sheet per player or team. Someone keeps the answer sheet.
  2. Write your best guess at each punchline. Any guess is better than a blank!
  3. Read out each joke and the guesses, then the real punchline.
  4. A point for every right answer, plus a bonus point for the funniest wrong one (the table votes).

Tips

  • Read the punchlines in your best cracker-joke voice, with a pause for groans.
  • Children love this one: let them read the jokes out.
  • Play it between the main course and pudding.

Printing tips

  • Print at 100% or “Actual size” rather than “Fit to page”, so nothing gets trimmed.
  • Everything is A4. If your printer only takes US Letter, choose “Fit to page” instead.
  • Thicker paper (120–160gsm) feels nicer to write on and survives a night out; plain 80gsm is fine too.
  • Black and white works: the designs are made to stay clear without colour.
