What’s included

  • 16 prompts with space to write a name
  • A name line
  • 1 A4 page, designed to print well in colour or black and white

How to play

  1. Hand everyone a sheet and a pen as they arrive.
  2. Hens mingle and ask each other questions, writing a name next to each clue.
  3. Try to use a different hen for every clue.
  4. After 15 minutes, the hen with the most clues filled wins a prize.

Tips

  • Perfect for the start of the hen do, when the school friends haven’t met the work friends.
  • The bride can play too, but she can’t write her own name.
  • Read out some answers at the end: you’ll learn lots about each other.

Printing tips

  • Print at 100% or “Actual size” rather than “Fit to page”, so nothing gets trimmed.
  • Everything is A4. If your printer only takes US Letter, choose “Fit to page” instead.
  • Thicker paper (120–160gsm) feels nicer to write on and survives a night out; plain 80gsm is fine too.
  • Black and white works: the designs are made to stay clear without colour.
